I’m so sorry for being away from the blog for so much! My apologies planner friends, but 2016 was a tough year and at the end it was more than challenging.
But now that I managed to start 2017 in the best, brighter and positive way, here’s my planner setup for february:
On the right you can see my monthly calendar. After trying out different shapes and dimensions (with little results in utility, I honestly must say), I came back to the most classic version of it. I must thank my friend Holly for the inspiration, and I would like to hear a warm and big welcome for her because she joined our planner-junkie-family! Go Holly, you rock!
On the left, there’s my academic report for my last big exam. The test will be tomorrow evening and I’m hoping to pass it because, after that, I’ll start to write my graduation thesis that will be about diaries (so much fantasy, uh?). I’m still deciding which part of this big topic I will cover, but I’m so thrilled about it.
This is my weekly spread for the coming month. All the weeks have the same layout, the only thing that change is the quote on the right page. Last month I tried an horizontal spread, but all the weekdays were on the left page and there were little space left for writing (I love to keep my handwriting big and bold, duh). So, for february I decided to try something different, splitting up the week in two. I don’t need so much space for notes, so half of a page is enough. I really like the result!
I’m in love with those obvious but still positive affirmations, that give a sparkling touch to my setup. I’ve decided to use colors (two, actually), because I’ve realized that I don’t have time to doodle around the planner anymore. In the past months it looked dull, so pink and violet I choose you!
I heard someone asking for details? Here they come!
